Singeing Tubular Knitted Fabric
Parex Mather have developed a special singeing machine for Tubular knitted fabrics.
A combination of straight and curved burners adjustable by the operator without tools, allows a wide range a tube diameters to be singed on the same machine.
During singeing the fabric is supported on an internal former so that precise burner to fabric distance is maintained for even and uniform singeing effect.
The machine is self contained with an integral fabric drive system with a spark quench unit included after the singe operation to extinguish any sparks before the fabric is plaited down.
Various former sizes allow flat tube dimensions of 1250mm to 830mm to be processed.
