Waterfall Units

ENERGY EFFICIENT
Designed to use less water and energy than conventional roller washers especially when washing off caustic soda after mercerising.

Fabric passes progressively upwards through the unit with water flowing downwards ensuring that all the water passes through the fabric giving maximum washing efficiency. No dead spots are possible. Internal breakers are fitted to prevent creasing. Totally enclosed to conserve heat energy. External heat exchange units to recover heat from the effluent.

SPACE EFFICIENT
The horizontal threading of the unit means that the floor space required is much reduced compared with a vertical washer of the same fabric capacity.

VERSATILE
Single units are 20 metres fabric capacity. Double units 40 metres.
Units can be combined with Aquatex units when chemical treatments are required in the same line.

FABRIC TENSION CONTROL
Half of the rollers in each unit are driven for minimum fabric tension.

LOW MAINTENANCE
Large rigid steam tight doors and windows for easy threading and maintenance. Special pumps are used which require no maintenance and which are capable of handling liquors up to 98°C. Rollers are carried in external ball bearings sealed from the internal liquor.
